Our story
Whangarei Central was acquired by Great Value Accommodation in 2017 — a family-run business focused on providing quality accommodation at affordable rates.
We're located on a 3-acre block in central Whangarei. It's a great option for people looking for affordable accommodation during their stay in Whangarei, or as a stop on their travels up and down Northland. We're an easy ten-minute stroll from Whangarei town centre, a five-minute walk to Tarewa Shopping Centre, a five-minute drive to Whangarei Hospital, and just one turn off State Highway 1.
We offer a range of accommodation options, including tent sites, campervan sites, cabins, apartments and motel units.
